We wanted to update this space and introduce a focal wall. The client had a variety of local art displayed within her home that she had collected over the years. It was important for us to use the art within the re-design project as well as most of the furniture. The painting behind the sofa served as my inspiration piece for the direction of the color pallete within in the new design.
After
I wanted the focal wall to make an impact when you entered the space. With a few adjustments to the floor plan, I was able to balance the color within the space and select a wall color to complement the existing furniture. Once I determined where the existing art would be hung, I was able to determine the additional wall hangings and accessories that would be needed to achieve this sophisticated, coastal look.
